It has been an unusual few days for comedian and actor. What started off as an amazing opportunity for the Night School star ends in turmoil.

Late last night, Hart announced via Twitter that he will not be hosting the Oscars this year. This comes after some  old tweets of Harts reemerged of him using homophobic slurs. This is not the first time that Hart has addressed these old tweets.

In an Instagram video, Hart explains that he had been given an ultimatum by the Academy awards. To either apologize for those old tweets, or relinquish his duties as host for the 2019 Oscars. He took the latter and gave up the gig.

Although, Hart did not directly apologize to the Academy, he did apologize to the LGBTQ community about the tweets.

Do you forgive Kevin Hart for his past tweets, or do you think he should be still held accountable? Tell us what you think!
