Elon Musk and Fortnite go back and forth in a petty meme exchange on Twitter
Over the weekend Elon Musk tweeted a photoshopped screenshot of an article from Marketwatch. The article claimed that “Elon Musk buys Fortnite and deletes it,” proceeded by a fake quote from Musk stating “I had to save these kids from eternal virginity.”
Musk tweeted the image and stated, “Had to be done ur welcome.”

Not wanting to be one up on the situation, Fortnite's official account responded by tweeting a month old article about Musk's plans on building a base on Mars in 10 years. Fortnite tweeted, “A whole decade @elonmusk? Just build, LOL!”
Musk responded, “Reality is hard."
This was apparently the ending of the feud.
Recently, Musk's tweeting has gotten him in trouble. Over the past week, he announced a lower-priced Tesla and revealed that The Boring Company’s first tunnel would open to the public in December. This attracted the attention of the SEC and he was fined.

Neither that or this feud has stopped the mogul from making other major business moves. On October 22, Musk tweeted the first tunnel under Los Angeles County is scheduled to open to the public in December. However, Los Angeles residents should not expect to ride across town by tunnel anytime soon.
