Don’t have $800 to see Hamilton on Broadway?
Check out these other Broadway shows that are less buzzed about but still just as amazing!
Broadway is defined by the American Theatre Wing and the Broadway league as theaters eligible for a Tony Award, located from 41st Street to 65th Street on the East Side of Manhattan.
The actors in these theaters must abide by the Actor’s Equity Contracts except for the ones run by non-profit companies, the Vivian Beaumont, the Biltmore, the American Airlines and Studio 54.
This means tickets on Broadway cost more money due to the higher production costs.
Broadway favorites like Cats, Phantom of the Oprah and Mamma Mia! have come and gone over the years. Right now, two top hits are Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen. While these musicals are the hottest tickets in town right now, don’t let the price tag get you down. There are plenty of other great shows to enjoy on the Great White Way!
