Gift guide for teen beauty products

Teens are often tricky to shop for, especially the girls. There are so many beauty products on the market that it can be overwhelming. However, with reasonably priced beauty items, you can get the teens in your life a variety of fun products without breaking the bank.  They may even find some items that they want to get again and again -- until they change their minds.

This guide contains many different beauty items for teens including facial products, makeup, hair products and some general items that the teenaged girls in your life will love.  There are quite a few facial products included, but each brings something different to the party, and they beat out many also-rans. More than 100 items were submitted and tested, and we also added a couple of products we just liked.

One can’t really do a guide for teens without feedback from teens. Please allow me to introduce readers to our teen testers, high school sophomores Noelle and Hannah.  These California girls, both 15-years-old, have been friends since they were babies, share a love of makeup, fashion, watching Netflix and Snapchatting with their friends and hope to receive many gift cards to Ulta so they can get even more beauty products.

Hannah likes English class, but isn’t too fond of engineering.  She spent many years living in Japan.  She likes listening to Twenty One Pilots, Lana Del Rey and Kanye West.  She loves all things horror, and is a fan of American Horror Story, Dexter, and Keeping Up with the Kardashians.  Hannah wants to merge her love of fashion and horror films into a possible career.

Hannah’s thoughts on makeup:

What I love most about makeup is that I can create art on people and myself and it’s just really therapeutic to me.

Noelle loves playing softball. When she is not doing her homework or wowing on the field, she loves hanging out with her friends.  She enjoys English and History, but doesn’t like math as much.  She likes to listen to Jon Bellion and watches the Gilmore Girls or The Flash. Noelle takes photos and likes arty and musical things.

Noelle’s thoughts on makeup:

You can do a whole different look every day and be creative with it to show off your personality.

Please enjoy this beauty gift guide for teens and be sure to check out the last item which is the unanimously favorite item that any girl interested in beauty products would love to receive.
