Part three of the highly anticipated M. Night Shyamalan series, Glass, is coming soon and has a new trailer.
After 19 years, the trilogy will finally be completed and over time, it has only gotten better.
The first of the three movies, Unbreakable, which came out in 2000, began with a seemingly impossible occasion of only one man surviving a deadly train crash, being introduced to the idea that there were people with superhuman abilities and he wasn’t the only one.
The second of the three movies, Split, which came out in 2016, premiered the similar concept of having superhuman abilities, mixed with a dissociative personality disorder, more commonly known as multiple personality disorder.
The third and final of the three movies, Glass, expected to premiere in January of 2019, unifies the three superhumans that were featured in the other movies to see what they can accomplish together.
This unification brings the three together in some sort of psychiatric evaluation ward where they can be monitored to figure out how they can survive and accomplish what they’ve done. Them being put together ultimately orchestrates the ability to combine their powers and escape.
M. Night Shyamalan announced the movie just 7 months after Split came to theaters and has been highly anticipated since.
The second trailer for Glass was released a few days ago and showed more detail with the exceptional cast featuring Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Willis and James McAvoy who will be reprising their roles from the other movies, as well as Sarah Paulson who will be playing the doctor observing them.
While it looks like Jackson and McAvoy’s characters team up to be the villains of the movie ready to kill, Willis’ character is the one who wants to use his strength for good and stop them.
The long-awaited film is currently in post-production and is set to come to theaters on January 18, 2019. Are you excited to see how this trilogy ends?
